Dr. Guillory has been practicing Internal Medicine since 1985.

Dr. Gerard Guillory is a board certified internal medicine specialist who has been practicing in Aurora, Colorado since 1985.  He is a nationally recognized speaker and writer on irritable bowel syndrome.  He strongly believes, as Hippocrates stated some 2000 years ago, that “all disease begins in the gut”. 

His clinical focus utilizes a functional/integrative medicine approach which seeks to discover the root cause of the problem.  Unlike the traditional "drug-disease" model which automatically resorts to medication, we attempt to discover why someone is feeling ill and not just the diagnosis.

With each patient a customized evaluation and treatment plan is developed to help achieve optimal wellness.  This approach is patient-centered rather than disease-centered.
