Sheila Gannon - Nutritionist

Sheila joined the Care Group after finishing the Master Nutrition Therapy program at the Nutrition Therapy Institute.  Prior to discovering her passion for nutrition, Sheila enjoyed ten years working in higher education.  She is happy to combine the two skills, and enjoys teaching others about nutrition.

Sheila’s passion for holistic nutrition began after she experienced her own health challenges.  In 2005 she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.  After completing both conventional treatment and a stem cell transplant, nutrition played a significant role in her journey back to health.  Her first-hand knowledge of nutrition facilitates healing and enables overall wellness.  Sheila’s desire to help others stems from the benefits she’s experienced from nutritional therapy.  She combines her ten years of working in higher education with holistic nutrition to promote your achievement of optimal health.  Sheila received her training from the Nutritional Therapy Institute and is a Certified Nutrition Therapist.  She is furthering her education and is currently completing her Master Nutrition Therapist (MNT) certificate.
